Quick Healthy Breakfast!

Extreme Toast!
I love this breakfast when I’m in a rush! My mom usually makes an amazing homemade breakfast every morning, but when she takes a break from the kitchen, this is what I make! I especially love it on Dave’s Killer Bread! Quick, easy and healthy!

What you need:
Whole Grain Bread
1 TBS Adams Peanut Butter
Half a banana
Raisins
Chopped walnuts are super yummy on top too!

The raisins are such a good go together with bananas and peanut butter! Must try!

Good is good

No matter the circumstances, hold fast to what is good.

Cling to the Lord because He is good.

Skinnier Chai Latte

Almond Milk is down right amazing! I use it instead of milk and I actually prefer it now. Mixing almond milk with chai is just perfect and a lot fewer calories too. I love it!

 What you need:
·      Chai Latte Concentrate (Oregon Chai)
·      Almond milk (Vanilla Almond milk is really good because of its sweetness!)
·      Nutmeg & Cinnamon
·      Homemade whip cream to top it off

Mix ½ cup Chai concentrate and ½ cup Almond Milk. Microwave for about 2 minutes and top with homemade whip cream and nutmeg & cinnamon if desired. J

Love on a Pita!

Presenting the BEST EVER Pita!
This is probably one of my favorite lunches/dinner EVER! Its soooooo delicious…it’s actually mouth watering! I love to make this on a flat bread or on sourdough bread as a panini! Here’s the secret to this amazing sandwich…it’s the dressing! It’s to die for. Go make this pita right away! Enjoy

Here's what you need to make this:

-Flat bread (I like the Greek Pita Flat Bread)
-Brianas Asiago Caesar Dressing (This is a MUST)
-Spinach
-Artichoke hearts
-Pepperoncinis
-Sun dried tomatoes
-Black olives
-Chicken
-Feta cheese
-Red onion
-Pepper jack cheese
-Italian seasoning

Instructions:
Set oven on Broil at 450*. Place flat bread on a cooking sheet. Put about 1-2 TBL (depending on how much you like) of Caesar dressing on flat bread and add all the toppings! After toppings are added, sprinkle some Italian Seasoning on top. (FYI I always put spinach on after the dressing, then pile everything on top.) My flat bread is always different depending on the ingredients we have, but any variation of these ingredients is AMAZING! Broil for about 2 mins. or until cheese has melted and fold it up and enjoy!

Here is a fantastic recipe for good 'ol white bread. It cuts great and works perfectly for sandwiches! Not to mention it is super easy to make and the results are so rewarding! Enjoy

· 2 cups warm water
· 2/3 cup white sugar
· 1 1/2 cup white sugar
· 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
· 1/4 cup vegetable oil
· 6 cups bread flour

1. In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in warm water, and then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.

2. Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in flour one cup at a time. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well oiled bowl, and turn dough to coat. Cover with a damp cloth. Allow to rise until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.

3. Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes, and divide in half. Shape into loaves, and place into two well oiled 9x5 inch loaf pans. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch above pans.
